Into the Storm

Storm season is here... I can hear the rumbling! I loved this shoot with beautiful Holly at The Spit on the Gold Coast - the black clouds were rolling in but we braved it anyway. We got absolutely saturated but had so much fun and ended up with these moody, raw and powerful shots. Enjoy x

And then the storm actually hit! I love the blurred focus and mood of shooting in the torrential rain!

If you’re keen to shoot outdoors rest assured I will not make you brave cyclonic weather if you’re not up for it! We always check the weather leading up to the day and set a time to make a call on whether to proceed or not (this depends on if you have hair and make up booked, how far you’re travelling etc)

Shooting in nature definitely adds another raw dimension to the final photos and I love how unpredictable it can be!

I love how much fun we have on shoots! If you’re nervous about doing a boudoir shoot I totally get it… It’s out of most people’s comfort zones but I am yet to meet anyone who hasn’t thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

This Morning, With Her...

I love boutique hotels.  On my last trip to Sydney I hit the jackpot with the beautiful heritage listed Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale.  A mixture of old world charm and new modern decor this place oozes sex appeal. I couldn't think of a more perfect place to shoot boudoir...
